Weil Mclain boiler leaking water. Fixable? If so, how so?

I found the leak in my Weil Mclain boiler after taking off the side and front panels. It appears to be between the right hand end section without heater opening and the intermediate sectioon 1815.

The boiler is old. The model number: EG-40-PI. It also says the desing was certified in 1983.

I tried looking up the CP number for more info, but it came up blank. CP 1158970.

Any thoughts? It looks for be much more than a seal.

I found this replacement part: https://www.ferguson.com/product/weil-mclain-eg-40%2C-45-series-1%2C-2%2C-3%2C-4-and-5-gas-boilers-assembly-w321811110/1623293.html

Many thanks.

Time for a new boiler. Just replacing the block will take almost as much labor and there won't be a warranty.

Where are you located? We might know someone who can help…………..

It served well. Give it a proper burial.
