Heat loss on heated floor foundation
What is the right way to insulate my foundation?
The floor has no insulation. sadly to say!
The foundation has white Styrofoam needs to be changed because in the winter there is no snow at least a foot away from the house.
Will insulating the foundation really help heating cost with the slab not insulated

Qaulity Polystyrene like Dow/Corning makes all the difference in the world. The greatest heatloss is the vertical edges. I'm not clear exactly what you are looking to do, so why don't you post a picture. Mad Dog

Is this a home with a basement? Or slab on grade?
Basement walls may be easier to insulate, dig down to the frost level and add 2” EXP foam
Slab on grade can be more complicated as you need to come up with a way to detail the exposed portion of the slab above the grade. And that can be a big loss area as it is exposed to ambient air temperatures
