older Carlin ez1 burner

Runs for 3-5 seconds no flame, stops. Goes through restart process. No flame, good oil flow out the bleeder, no oil from outlet of pump. Any ideas, solenoid valve???. The run 3-5 seconds stop restart make me think controller perhaps

If you get good flow out the bleeder and nothing out of the nozzle line then it is the solenoid.

solenoid valve, check coupling. Check for any leaks see if you’re sucking in air anywhere. Put a pump pressure gauge make sure you’re building pressure and holding it. Not much info to go off of

What's the voltage at the oil delay valve when powered?

What's powering the burner circuit, B1 from the aquastat, or TT at the Primary?

    What model Primary?
