What have your experiences been with the Burnham V-9 steamer?

We are looking to start using these as one of our chief boiler suppliers are picking them up. Burnham is virtually nonexistant in Chicago for larger commercial cast iron boilers. It looks a lot like the Weil 80 series, which we can't seem to get anymore here in Chicago…. 6 inch wide castings with 4 inch supply tappings on top and with the added bonus of push nipple construction.

They work. And we can get them.

Look at the ratings and you'll see they push their cast iron a lot harder than W-M does. I'm not sure what that does to their longevity.

Supposedly the W-M 80 series is once again available. Maybe you should call W-M and ask them?
