I have a Lochinvar Knight KBN080 boiler and it works for the hot water loop but once I turn on a heat zone it works for awhile then says 01shutdown. I can't reset it but once I turn off the request for heat and hot water is requested it starts again. Heat seems to take too long to reach the rooms so it seems to shut down then. Will a faulty circulating pump cause this problem?

What does the manual say that code means? I can't seem to find that code anywhere in my literature. If it's an overheat or high limit code, then yes a faulty circulator could certainly be the cause. Has any work been performed on the system lately that may have introduced air? What is the system pressure?
