Putting cast iron radiators back in service

I'm switching rads to pex piping instead of the gravity fed 3 inch piping that is original in our Victorian. I have made some progress andbut requires a few tools lol. I have the rad pipe removal/install tool for the old piping and take the first section off. Then i found brass 2 inch to 3/4 inch plates for the rads and using brass connectors.Takes about 15 min to do a radiator then paint them. I'm using 2" and 1.5" taps to clean threads and tap them deeper. I found, the sections without feet are tapped all the way through and tge section with the legs or feet are only about an inch in. I have tapped a few of them and some I have not.

Use cutting oil on the taps .. I would also recommend lag bolting the radiators to the wall when using Pex risers …
