Roth/Radiant Layout
I have just purchased a 1984 house that was primarily heated by hotwater baseboards. They are in super rough shape and are fed by polyb, so I'm planning on doing a full removal and upgrade, and i would love to upgrade to radiant throughout the house. After lots of research into my options and also an awareness as to my resources, my plan at the moment is to do 1" Roth Radiant Panels on the ground level (on grade slab), and utilize joist trak heat transfer plates under the subfloor of the main level (with vinyl planks for most of the house as the flooring for most of the house except one small room where we will have carpet).
I have been reading here a lot and I would like to do as much of the manual labor myself as i can, while outsourcing the technical pieces to a professional. I would love one of the pieces that i do myself to be laying down the roth panel, but annoyingly, my roth supplier (in vancouver bc) doesn't do any sort of layout advice or provide any loop service. I downloaded loopcad and started playing around, but i wanted to ask the experienced people here if this is where you would start? It seems like a lot of the loop recommendations from loopcad would be a bit tricky to achieve with a bulkier panel setup so i thought i would check before i go deeper down the rabbit hole.
Thanks!

Volley Dad
last year I installed Roth Panel. I contacted Roth directly and they provided a loop cad drawing and materials list. Hope that helpsJeffrey

Thank you! it does! And i am working on the heat load calculation now so all of your advice is helpful. Thanks!
