Electric water heaters as buffer tanks

Here are a couple options for using the 3/4" ports with increasers.
The copper adapter is a 3/4- 1-1/4"
The stainless bell 3/4- 1-1/2".
Basically you get a velocity increase through that short 3/4" section. At a 10 gpm flow, probably around a 5-6 fps velocity. This also happens in reduced port ball valves, balancing valves, check valves, any flow device with a restriction.
A young fellow near me buys Amazon pallets and resells. These new in undamaged box, tanks were $160.00. Watch your FB marketplace for deals like this.
