POLARIS 34-150-2NV HARD LOCKOUT?
Came home after 9 days to a puddle around my water heater. Looked like the temp (pressure) valve on top had opened. Power light was on, no error codes. Powered off & on, same results. It was 100F here when I was gone & I had the boiler temp set to max.
Reading the installation instructions I saw a reference to a "hard lockout" that must be reset by a "professional". My heat guy hasn't answered my texts or voice mails (he has significant medical problems). I'm pretty technical (have replaced innumerable zone valves & operators).
HELP!
Steve

If there aren't any error codes, you don't have a hard lockout as there would be an error code or error message. And I don't think hot weather would influence the operation of your Polaris. You might need an expansion tank if the pressure got too high or if, in fact, the temperature got too high, you might need a new sensor.
Edit: Yes, you could have a hard lockout on the older heaters that have no screen. If that is the case, which lights are on?
