so i went to take the trash out other night thank god bcuz i noticed that the ridiculous plastic fittings and clips blew apart and was flooding fast. i replaced o ring s mixing valve and flow sensor inlet body, fixed leak. So now i try to run it and the gfi trips as it gets up to temp. breaker doesn’t blow just plug. 🔌 i tried different outlet still can’t keep it on anyone ? tell me whst i need. my typing /texting is sub par at best . summertime i want valve off heat ? 🤷🏽 🤦

Sounds like something got wet. Are you saying you plugged it into a non GFCI outlet and it didn't work?

If so something got wet maybe a hair drier could dry things out. If some of the controls got wet then all bets are off and they probably need replacement.

sorry 2 sleepless nights worrying with wetvvac ready trying not to be a hero or overstep my knowledge. its hard for me to admit i cant fix things myself and i do know there may not be one ☝️ answer to my problem so its just tough.

I have one and run my DHW at 125° F what temp did you have yours at, you might be right about melting the rings on the mixing valves but I run my heating side at 180° F and the 3-way valve, which is also plastic seems to handle it okay. I'm on my 4th heating season now with no issues.
