Thermostatic control with Fin Tubbed Heat Exchangers?

Hi everyone,

Learning a bit more abut the world of thermostatic control valves.

Although I can find many examples of these valves with traditional cast iron radiators and panels, I can't find many visual examples of using a TCV with fin-tubbed heat exchangers.

Is this not a common application?

Attached are a few pics.

You can use them with any type of heat Emitter.

Just be careful with the selection. They make angle valves and straight valve. Valves with self contained sensors and remote senors.

Mounting positions of the valves and sensors are important.

Caleffi, Macon, Danfoss etc are the most popular. There are others.

maybe use an angle valve so that black plastic cap tube adapter is protected under the enclosure, be aware of the flow direction on the valve
