Question about Grundfos pump orientation

Hello! I'm installing this pump for a radiant floor heating project and am wondering if I can orient this to pump to the left. If I face it left, the electronic thing is sticking out the top, and in the manual it only shows it pumping up and down, to the right, and diagonally, not to the left like I need it. That being said, it doesn't say don't pump left.

Wanted to check with the experts, and Grundfos doesn't seem to have a consumer contact line.

Thank you for your help!!

Hi, That is not a pump I've dealt with, but with the stainless band clamp, it looks like you can rotate the pump motor independently of the wetted part of the pump. That way, the readout on the back of the pump motor can have proper orientation regardless of piping. Of course, the pump shaft should be horizontal.

That vortex sensor in the pump body needs to be up. The band can be loosened to rotate the motor to the position you need.

Thanks hot_rod. The pictures show it in the orientation that I need. I already loosened the band so that it'll pump to the left. Does anything look wrong to you in the pictures I have, or does it look good to go?

That will work. Be sure the arrow on the black pump housing is pointing in them direction you want the flow to go.

See the arrow behind the stainless band.

Awesome, thanks so much. That pic is exactly what I'm planning! I just wasn't sure because that electrical cord didn't seem right on top like that, but anyway I'm all set now.
