System 2000 Heats zones when hot water comes on

Hi everyone, This is a bit embarrassing to post but I have a System2000 model EK-1f (early 2000’s) I went to remove a thermostat wire on an unused zone and stupidly I didn’t turn off the boiler switch off

When I went to change the wire the circuit board was loose the lights started to flicker then it came back on

Ever since this incident I noticed when it calls for hot water it circulates and heats up all the zones even though the zone lights are off

I even disconnected the other thermostat wires and it still circulates the zone’s. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

@jyy2400 , a photo of the control and zone valves would help. If you turn the emergency power switch off (left side of the manager junction box), do you hear the zones close? If so we can find out why they are powered. If not, check to see if each zone valve actuation lever is closed (the levers will move without resistance if they are powered open, and be difficult to move if they are closed).

Make sure the circuit board connector is all the way on. Just push the connector on each side of the board toward the circuit board to make sure it is seated fully. Don't think it is the problem, but it might be part of it.
