Any thoughts on Amvic Ampex (radiant slab insulation)

I am doing my own 40x70 house/shop, slab on grade in southern Missouri. A local contractor has offered to sell me Amivix Ampex for $1.65 per sq. ft. I’m tempted to go with this… Anyone have any experience with it?
1. Is it a good product?
2. Can I depend on the built-in vapor barrier? Or should I put one underneath too?
3. Pros/Cons?
I’m all ears.

Spend the time to elevate the tube into the slab, 2" below the surface if possible.
Here is how I detailed my shop tube. 6" OC for lowest SWT, heavy gauge sheet mesh elevated with small pieces of foam.
