First generation fitting (lower Elbow). This Long Island Fatmhouse was built in 1846. Not sure when Steam went in. Steamhead and Dan will know the manufacturer and approximate year. Mad Dog

I don't know..could be horsehair or hemp? I just had the HO have all the asbestos abated. This is what was underneath. The old Farmhouse has settled and some mains are backpitched. I put up pictures a few months back, but this asbestos pre-dated the nice, factory made Cell-type. Mad Dog0
