Do we need to make allowances for the solar panel down time during total Eclipse?

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

I am so happy that our government is looking out for us.
I was afraid that my Tesla might just die on the highway at two o'clock and I would be stranded.
    Thanks @Hot_water_fan

Buffer tank to carry you through the darkness.

People around here around here are freaking out.

    Food stores jammed yesterday.

    Anyone else seeing that?

I am sure the average house at the worst case has enough canned soup, tuna fish and peanut butter to survive.

I noticed this same phenomenon @EBEBRATT-Ed just before snow storms and hurricanes. Everyone rushed to the store to buy up all the bread, milk and eggs. I call this the French Toast Effect.

If it gets dark for 4 minutes then when the sun comes back out its morning again, so we need the extra supplies to make afternoon french toast for second breakfast

Was a kid in New England in nineteen seventy when the last eclipse came close.
As a kid you can pick up on nonsense from people. I don't remember any of that going on back then.
Come to think of it, I didn't experience any of it, this fifty years later. My Tesla runs fine.
