Hazard:
The blocked vent switch (BVS) can fail to shut down the burners if the boilers are installed at altitudes above 5,400 feet and the vent system becomes blocked. In such an event, the boiler can emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide into the home, posing a carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning hazard to consumers.

U.S. Boiler ES2 models ES23, ES24, ES25, ES26, ES27, ES28, ES29 (with or without “-N” or “-P” suffix)

I have an ES27 - but it's installed in Chicagoland so I assume this recall does not apply to my situation.

Crown AWR boiler By Velocity Boiler Works has the same issue. https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2024/Crown-Boiler-Recalls-Home-Heating-Boilers-Due-to-Carbon-Monoxide-Poisoning-Hazard

It is a simple fix.

Did you get the fix from Crown?
Since I'm not a contractor, I don't think US Boiler will work with me.
