Zone valve stuck open

Hi,
My house has a separate building that serves as a workshop.  There is one lochnivar boiler in the main house with a a 6 zone taco controller for the main house and a one zone taco for the shop.  The shop has two zones with Honeywell power heads.  One zone never pushes the switch to close the relay, and the other is stuck constantly pushing it.  Is this likely to be the motor or the ball valve.  The motor on the one that is constantly heating was replaced recently.  If I do need to change the ball valve how should I go about water pressure, there is an isolation valve in the main house but not the shop.  Thanks for any help!

Got a pic of the zone valve? If it us a common spring return HW, they rarely stick open. Remove the wires, see if it closes

So on a Honeywell zone valve, at times I’ve seen the spindal get sticky, remove the zone head and see if the brass spindle moves freely, if not, you can use a little WD-40 and work it back and forth until it’s freed up.
