Help connecting Radiant Roll to manifold

Hi I have old (1989) Radiant Roll EPDM staple radiant floor by defunct Bio-Energy Systems that sprang a leak at manifold. EPDM tubing is in good shape, no known flow issues.
The tube and teflon? 3/4" long insert have come apart from the manifold. With no instructions on how to reinsert. How far should the teflon insert go into the tubing?
This seems to be just a pressure fit into the manifold but cannot get tube with teflon in far enough to stop leaking. How far should tube be inserted into manifold? From what I read you should be able to insert by hand. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe Radiant Roll similar to SolaRoll if that helps.
Please see picture and documentation that I have on it.

I don't know of anyone with the parts for that connection anymore? I have had to make complete new manifolds with 1/4 barb connectors. Is the tube pretty soft yet? When it gets hard and brittle it becomes tougher to salvage.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

It was installed with a tool

Being able to push it in by hand doesn't seem like it would be tight enough.

Yes, the tube is quite flexible it has been covered by drywall for years.
Does anyone have instructions for insertion?
The only document that that mentioned the hand insertion is for SolarRoll referenced in this post

Picture is not clear that clear but no tool appeared to be needed. Has anyone installed this tubing back in the with teflon insert?
Thanks
