What does turning on summer mode on NTI combi actually do

I noticed on my NTI FTV110C on the companion app and I assume in the menu settings, I can put the combi boiler into summer mode. What does that actually do, any downsides?

I would assume it will shut off the Heat but keep on the Hot Water ....

There was an error rendering this rich post.

  • Just guessing, it probably turns off heating mode and works only in domestic hot water mode. It prevents the boiler and pumps from turning on even when a thermostat calls for heat.
