Depends on the control. if you can set it to OFF then that will save you the most on fuel.
If it is the L8124 control, then you can remove the blue wire from the LOW side and cap it with a wire nut.
Then set the LOW temperature to the lowest setting so the circulator will operate as soon as the boiler water gets to 115° set DIFF to 10°Edward Young Retired
After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
