WM CGS Gold Boiler Starting issue

Background:
-WM CGS boiler was installed in 2010.
-Major overhaul 2 years ago when some valves seized.
-replaced Pilot/Burner assembly 1 year ago.

Problem:
Recently been hearing the boiler cycle on/off too frequently. This morning the boiler was not running and only the single GREEN Power light was illuminated.
I only got it to start after turning off the breaker for 30 mins.

I'd like to suss out the problem and replace before losing it all. Ideas?
Thanks very much!

    Too vague

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

What is included in a Major Overhaul?

What kind of valve(s) seized. Gas? Water? Zone? Manual? Globe? Ball? Stop and Waste? Gate? Relief? Mixing? or some other type of valve?

Cycling off power to the control on the CGS Boiler will reset that control.

    Included in the overhaul--New:
    -Expansion Tank
    -Circulator
    -Relief valve
    -Flow Check valve
    -pressure gauge

Nothing electrical was replaced/repaired (other than the ignitor a year ago).

The relief valve failed when the pressure gauge failed.

Do you have an electric meter?
The next time you experience this problem, you will want to check some electrical connections before you shut off the power to reset the control.
    1. Check that the thermostat is calling for heat.
    2. Go to the boiler and find where the thermostat wires connect to the boiler. The most common place would be where the green arrow is pointing in the illustration.

    3. Remove the wire connector or wire nut and touch the 2 black wires together. This will complete the circuit as the thermostat should. If the boiler starts then the problem is with the thermostat or the thermostat wire.
    4. If touching the black wires together does not start the boiler, then the problem is with the boiler control system, and further testing is needed.
    5. Remove the wires from the thermostat to the black wires and see if you have any voltage at the wires with your multimeter set to measure a minimum of 24 Volts. (usually the 1000 VAC setting will work). You should read between 20 and 30 VAC. If you don't have 24 volts when the green light is on, then there is a problem with the control or wiring.

Sometimes removing the 9 pin plug and replacing it will reset the connections and that is all that is needed.
