Last night my Rinnai E50 boiler decided to have a problem, the heater started flashing an E2 error. After about 5 years of trouble free service, it did it maybe a month ago flashed the E2 hit the reset button and it started up and ran for a month as normal and last night it flashed E2 again, have tried the reset button about 4 times til about 2 in the morning. Trying again now Saturday.
ANY TIPS on what it may be?

Thinking it's either gas supply regulator, ignitor or circulating pump.

After being helped here tremendously with designing and building my home's hydroponic heating and domestic water systems resulting in a beautifully heated warm home, I hope someone with Rinnai experience can steer me back onto the straight and narrow.
Regards Tony Aldridge.

Pull out flame rod sensors ..... clean any corrosive build-up
Check to see if your getting a "spark" off the igniter
