I came here looking for answers to my Weil-McLein Boiler pilot failing to light randomly & stumbled across this thread. We recently lost both my parents to cancer, just 6 months apart, and the 1st attempt to post these Acorn chair straight stair lifts online and  immediately attracted scammers who tried to send the world's most obvious con cashier's check, a well known scam but these clowns weren't even trying to seem clever. Nevertheless, we si.ply refuse to attempt to use those type of sites again. Just too many predatory bums wasting our valuable time. Would luv to make a deal with someone who could get some use from one or both of them. We're asking just 1200 each but willing to entertain a reasonable offer. I know this is kind of out of the realm of hvac & plumbing but I have read countless posts from seemingly honest, normal folks in this community.  Calls only for serious interest, forgive us for having our scam defenses on full alert. My wife & I would love to see these make it to a home where they will have a chance to give somebody more mobility in their home.     Sincere condolences, but I'm afraid your post may be a bit too far out of the realm of "heating" to last long on this forum. I would suggest trying Craigslist (maybe again). Yes, the first few replies will probably be from scammers, but I've bought and sold many things over 20+ years on Craigslist, and as long as you have your scammer radar on, you'll be able to weed those people out. Many ordinary honest people in my area do use Craigslist succesfully. Good luck with your sale.
