Non-standard Gas Valve Flange Threads
After some remodeling our fireplace gas valve flange (purely decorative to cover cover hole in wall) is in pretty rough shape (painted over, dinged, sticks out too far from removed wood paneling). The flange appears to be 3/4" female, however the thread is finer than the standard 3/4" NPS that is universally used. Does anyone know if the 1970s had an alternative 3/4" pitch other than NPS and what standard it may be called so I can try to find a new (or even used on eBay) gas valve flange?
