Viesmann fan motor

in THE MAIN WALL
My vitodens 100 fan motor is starting to squeal. Does it have bearings or bushings. I’d like to know what size bearings before I pull it off if it has that.

    I doubt you can rebuild it. Mod Cons are usually sold as a fan assembly which includes the motor and the blower wheel. $$$$$

    I have the identical fan installed in my Vitodens installed in 2010. Although the fan is sold as an (expensive) assembly, it is possible to get into it. I was able to repair an electrical problem on the control board inside the fan.

    I want to replace the ball bearings in my unit in the next few months. I have seen bearing replacement of similar fans on YouTube. I am not aware of any written information giving the specifications of the bearings. You may need to purchase replacement bearings after you remove the originals and determine their specifications.
