What does a vacuum pump sound like when there's steam in the returns? I know it's described as "screaming" or other things, but I wanna hear an audio sample... So any YouTube videos?

Similarly, what does it sound like if it's been damaged by steam in the returns?

    It will be "kettling and banging.

    Feed them steam and they won't last long. Self destruction caused by bad or neglected steam traps
