Viridian VT2218 Locked in Constant Mode

At the title suggests, of my Viridian circulators is locked in Constant mode, at 8W power. Holding down the Set button doesn't restore the menu. I called Taco and they suggested holding down both arrow keys, but that didn't do the trick either. Their other suggestion is a new pump.

Before I buy a new circulator, has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution?
