What do you call that top on a Bundy radiator?

You know that cast-iron, fret-worked top on a Bundy radiator? What the heck do you call it, and is there some way of identifying the different designs that were used for the fret-work? I have found a mention and photo of the Daisy pattern in a Griffing catalog, but that's it.
