ecobee3 lite thermostat swing setting

I'm looking at upgrading our 4-unit condo building to smart thermostats. We have 2 oil-fired cast iron boilers, each heating two condo units through cast iron radiators.

After a lot of trial and error, and help from the good people here on HH, I've found that the system works best when the boilers run around 40 minutes at a time (these are large cold start cast iron boilers with a lot of water volume that take a long time to heat up.) We run the boilers off simple Lux TX100 digital thermostats with adjustable swing settings set to 0.5 degrees F. As you pros will know, for a system of this type, the swing setting is the key factor that controls how long the boilers run per cycle. Too high a swing and the boilers run long, too low a swing and they short cycle.

I'm now looking to join the current century and upgrade to Ecobee WiFi thermostats, which from my reading have good reviews here on HH and elsewhere. I'll be using the graphical interface to monitor boiler run times, etc. But the key factor is that I need to be able to program the swing setting for optimal boiler run times.

So my question is which Ecobee thermostats allow me to program the swing setting. I've looked at the Ecobee3 lite, and it does not appear to have a programmable swing setting. However, it does have a "heat minimum run time" setting, which, if I can set it to 40 minutes, would accomplish the same thing. The minimum setting is 5 minutes, but I can't find the maximum setting. Does anybody know? Ideally for us it should be 40 minute minimum, and if I can't get 40 minutes of run time, I wouldn't buy it.

Update: I managed to get hold of ecobee tech support, and they told me that the ecobee3 lite DOES have an adjustable swing setting, but it can only be accessed after setting the staging to "manual" as follows:

Main menu>General>Settings>Installation>Thresholds>Configure staging>Manually
Main menu>General>Settings>Installation>Thresholds>Heat differential temperature

I'll leave this post for future reference if anyone needs to know how to set the swing on an ecobee3 lite.
