Natural gas flexible connector for cooktop
Plan to replace gas cooktop with a new LG model CBGJ3023. The installation instructions say to use a 5/8” ID ,3ft flexible connector.
All I am seeing in local Home Depot and Lowes are 5/8” OD connectors . At 3ft the BTU rating of the 5/8” OD is 125,000. The cooktop at max is 57,000 BTUs.
I am thinking I can use the 5/8’ OD (even given is smaller ID) because the BTU rating is well above what the cooktop needs at Max .
What do you think?
