Boiler water treatment

Hi All,
Has anyone ever come across boilers where the sample cooler is piped to the steam side of the boiler?
All of the boilers I have seen up until now have the sample cooler piped about mid boiler, to test the actual boiler water.
Can conductivity be measured correctly if the sample cooler is only sampling the condensing steam?
Thanks in advance!
