Part# for Outdoor Temperature Sensor for Viessmann Vitodens B1HE-199

I am looking for part number for OTS for Viessmann Vitodens 100-W B1HE-199 as we as its technical data. There are no details of it in any of the materials that come with the boiler. I've done some searches online but it's rather confusing if Viessmann uses the same OTS for all their mod-con boilers.

If you're an installer/contractor, what wire do you use for the OTS connection?

Please include photos of the OTS if convenient. Thank you!

    The Spare Parts app from Viessmann is a good reference for finding part #'s

    dko has the correct number. Viessmann did use a different sensor on some older equipment so other part numbers may not work. That boiler shipped new with the sensor and information regarding the sensor, every Viessmann 100 series does. You can use regular thermostat wire for the connection

    Important to use a single run, no splices.

    Thank you @kdo and @GGross! It's expensive. I'll wait for my installer to send me one. He didn't install it when he installed the boiler and he didn't leave it just in case I wanted it.

    And I want it now.

    @dko @GGross

    My installer sent me an outside temperature sensor part#7508904 with the board#7453011-1.

    I've looked it up and it is for an older boiler B1HA. Do you think it's ok to use it with my boiler B1HE? It's quite possible that the boiler had been sitting at the supply house for a while before it got to me on 11/12/2023. I saw "Burner last restart date" was 10/18/2021 - not sure what this date is for.

    I've also looked up 7837053 which is compatible with B1HA and B1HE. Do you have the board# for 7837053?

    I just want to make sure it works before I invest time and money in installing it. Thanks again!

    I'm not sure what that board number is? Are you talking about the board in the sensor? The sensor you listed that was given to you should work with your boiler, to try it out you can wire it in inside to test it first

    @GGross Yes, I was referring to the board in the sensor. I have ordered 50-ft of thermostat wire rated for outdoor. I will wire it inside to try it out when the wire arrives. Thank you!
