Energy kinetics system 2000 input rates

I noticed on my new boiler that it lists four input rates from .68 to 1.00 gph of oil for the EK1, is this input rate set by the installer or is the boiler matching the input rate to the demand?

Thank you all for your posts. @H2OBandit603 , boiler models like the System 2000 Frontier have an Energy Manager control with thermal purge. This anticipates the end of the thermostat call and purges heat remaining in the boiler to the last zone(s) that called. The combination of thermal purge and low mass means that idle loss is virtually eliminated, and that means that oversizing is virutally eliminated as well. So your boiler will run at very near peak efficiency whether it's the spring or fall with low heating loads, or in the dead of winter.
Another way to say that is there is no need to change nozzle sizes or downfire to try to substantially gain efficiency (at most is is 1% to 2% different).
