Amana 80% goes to lock out mode after lightning a first burner for one second. Changed the flame sensor, new filter, cleaned intake pipe.
No idea…..please help.

    Need pictures. Is it a standing pilot, electric ignition or a hot surface ignitor? Is the pilot lighting? You said the first burner lights do you mean the main burner? How many main burners are their?

    It sounds like dirty/rusty burners to me. That's usually the problem on newer furnaces. Remove the burners, clean off the ends with a wire brush. Make sure the crossover slots are free of rust. It could also be a plugged up gas orifice.

    Damp, humid location? Crossovers are clogged.
    If you're not sure, it might be better left to a pro. Sometimes the whole gas train needs to be removed. The orifices can be checked that way as well.
