Repair Stadler Pex size issue

We are experiencing difficulties in repairing a leaking radiant heating tube made in Germany. I have bought a 5/8-inch compression coupling, but it is slightly too small. The tube was manufactured by Stadler which I understand that Viega bought out. In another post, it was recommended to contact Hydronic Alternatives, but they only sell imperial-sized compression couplings. The tube is milky translucent white with orange stripes. The following writing is what I could decipher from the tubes: HO 16x2 0874 feet 26.09.91 WA5314 Stadler Pextron 1/2 inch NOM S0R 9 180° F 100 PSI PETM F876 Electronically Lined with Oxy… that’s all I could read and some things were difficult as there are scratches on the tube, but I guessed in some cases above 👆.
Can anyone help as our home is without heat and my plumber said I'm on my own.
Thanks!

1/2 inch NOM SDR9 sounds like standard 1/2" pex by that description. a standard 1/2" coupling should work, not sure why someone tried 5/8"? if it were metric size they would express the size in mm0

What brand of manifold, Stadler I assume? Where are you trying to make a connection?
Stadler tubing is an odd id size. When I replaced Stadler manifolds with Caleffi manifolds with Stadler tubing, I had to make up the difference in the size between Stadler pex and Caleffi fittings. I like the Caleffi olive connectors, but they have a id tube range for the pex. Stadler tubing was outside of this range, too large an id. I bought EPDM o-rings that made up the difference and put them on the Caleffi fittings after removing the Caleffi o-rings. Worked just fine.2 -
If you are just making a connection between two pieces of Stadler pex, I would use a brass connector and Oetiker clamps. I think Stadler pex is pex A, but I'm not sure. I used 5/8" Sharkbite pex B coupling and Oetiker clamps on one job to make a connection on Stadler 1/2 pex that a plumber had nicked and where several nails had pierced the tubing.
