The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of New York is seeking a Project Scheduling and Control Instructor for its Construction Project Management Program. Classes are held at the Society's Mechanics Institute located at 20 West 44th Street, NYC 10036.
Mechanics Institute Project Scheduling and Control:
The educational objective of this course is to introduce the student to the scheduling aspects of a construction project which includes the Critical Path Method (CPM). The student will learn how to create and implement the initial timing schedule. Topics include sequence of operations, scheduling of resources, costs, float, and personnel/labor. Control of the schedule will be emphasized and the course will demonstrate how to produce a project on time and within budget.
