Do yourself a favor and dont buy a Nest Thermostat with steam

I dont subscribe to the idea that any smart thermostat is a bad idea with steam heating, but you can certainly do better than the Nest.
I replaced this with the Ecobee Premium and placed a sensor in an upstairs bedroom. What an immediate difference it made. With the Nest there is no way to set a minimum cycle run time. I was getting numerous short cycles of 4-7 minute per cycles. The whole home heats much more evenly. The nest would click on and heat for like 1 degree at a time then click off, despite selecting radiator heat in the install gui. It means nothing.
