Heat on inactive zones when separate zones active

Hi, we have a wet underfloor heating system controlled by loxone and we are having the same ongoing issue regardless of fixes we have tried. Our kitchen (which operates off 3 valves) is opening letting through hot water when the actuators are not calling but when other zone actuators are calling. The minute the different zones stop calling the kitchen zones close. Any advice please, we're melting!

Ah, so you are experiencing "ghost flow" the issue can turn out to be one or two things, Zone valves that have weak springs, weak solenoids or weak magnets, worn out zone valves, zone valves that have dirt in them or dust and dirt in the solenoid.

Can you simply lower the house thermostat until the issue is found?

And what happens when you turn the kitchen thermostat up higher than the rest? Does that zone work properly by itself? It'd be great if you could show us the piping and wiring.

My thoughts is more an electrical problem or setting . What would be the odds of three actuators stuck open on the same zone ? Have you brought out the electrical meter to test them ?

There was an error rendering this rich post.

I not 100% sure if the zone works by itself as it's always way over temperature because of this problem but I believe it does. I will attach a photo of the zones in question but it can happen in other areas too. I will also attach a video showing when the hobby room comes on (2 far left actuators) the kitchen zones open despite the actuators not calling (3 on the left). And when the utility calls for heat (central) one of the lounge zones (next to it) opens. It's driving us mad. We've had electricians out to it but electrically they say it's all fine. Both the plumbers and the electricians that did the job (and it was from scratch so a blank canvas) went into liquidation so we're caught between a rock an a hard place :(

most of the time we see videos uploaded to youtube or some other video sharing website, and then you can link it here. You can make the video on YouTube "unlisted" if you don't want it to show up for everyone, that will let anyone with the link still be able to view it so you can share the link here

Kinda looks like all those actuators are series wired together?

So the plumbers are now recommending that we replace all the loxone actuators with more basic ones, they think the loxone ones may be too sensitive/intelligent?

So they replaced the pins on the valves yesterday as they thought they may be sticking but it has made no difference to them opening when different actuators are calling. Could it be the actuators?
