Old Danfoss TRV

Hello everyone:

I live in the US, and have a Danfoss radiator. When I bought the house, the radiator was missing a TRV. I had no idea. As a result the heat pumps continuously to the point it gets uncomfortably hot. The TRV for this valve appears to be unavailable in the US. I believe it's called a Belmont valve. Can anyone provide any information on these valves. I am looking for a TRV that can monitor the and close the valve similar to how a thermostat and an actuator work together.

Often called lock shield or convertible radiator valve. The knob comes off and an actuator can be added. But most are brand specific, so you would need to know the brand of that valve.

The valve may be a Danfoss. I don't recall Danfoss making radiators?

It is not so expensive to replace the valve and put a new actuator on it.

If that is copper tube feeding it, you can get compression connections by NPT.

when he takes the cap off my valve looks exactly the same. Now that you mention it, it could be a runtal radiator.
