We have an older Dunkirk gas hot water boiler three zones. Gas co said there was a leak shut it down and locked it on homeowner. We replaced the gas valve and replaced a faulty leaking ball valve. We cleaned all burners inspected everything. Gas co turned back on no leaks boiler pilot good color and strong and it fires up but burners made a loud noise and homeowner said burners are off. There seems to be no circulator pumps running and we won't know until we test. Im down with Covid once again so sending my worker to do the standard tests Anyone have any idea why this has happened? Sounds to me like electrical or bad pump thanks in advance

Sounds to me like the gas valve is passing more gas through it than the Combustion chamber can handle in a given time.OR delayed ignition. Is it a Step-Opening gas valve? I had Covid twice..very frustrating sitting on the bench. Be very careful here..If its above your guys Pay Grade, shut the gas cock & let someone else deal with it. Mad dog
