I have a center hall colonial with 2 zones. Our thermostat is in the master bedroom; it also receives full sun all day & is the warmest room in the house. Problem is, my 3 kids rooms on the opposite side of the house (no sun) are always freezing! Any ideas to help with that? I really dont want to have to rely on space heaters.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Move thermostat location to a cooler room

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

If you don’t want to put the actual control in that particular room, then get a thermostat with the option to use a remote sensor.

Put the sensor in the cold room and keep the thermostat in the master bedroom

Of course the master bedroom is going to be too hot.  So you will need to close the vents in that room.
