Wonderful local Boilerless hydronic system

Today I had the pleasure of visiting a local ranch located at the base of a hill that supplies the area with cold and hot water springs.
All of the heating is radiant fed by the hot springs, no boilers, just pipes and rads.

Hot water Creek, it's chilly outside and the water temp is over 120°f.

Besides being crystal clear, the water is delicious (from the cold creek)

Uphill, are a few of these little cisterns where some of the water is collected and gravity-fed to the houses on the property.

There is a little booster pump for when the pressure is low.
Just thought I'd share.

Nice to access to that hot spring. Is there a heat exchanger in the hot supply somewhere. Those springs tend to have a lot of minerals in them.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

The pics I posted is all there is, no filters or anything else. It's really clean and not heavy at all.
