Tankless Coil Reference for Crown TWZ125

Hello everyone and many thanks for any information provided. I am trying to find a replacement coil for my Crown boiler (TWZ125COTT1PSU) that has a Therma-Flow v7-5 (5 g/pm) in it presently. Since this is not a Crown/ Velocity product specifically, does that mean other companies make coils that are compatible with this or other boilers? We were planning on replacing this boiler within the next few years, but the coil is completely packed and needs replacement now. This is my first coil adventure so I appreciate any help and especially any patience.

Why wouldn’t you just call velocity and get the correct one?
But you could just Google it. There are companies (supplyhouses) that sell tankless coils

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Everhot/Thermaflow makes coils for almost every boiler there is.

Google them they are in the Boston area.

They will probably have you buy it through a wholesaler or Supply house.com

    Degreaser. Spray the bolts.
If the bolts don't budge, take a flat chisel and lump hammer at tap the flats on all the bolts.
Try tightening a little before loosening.
If bolts snap, get some good drill bits, oil to keep the bits from burning out, and a tap and die set. It's soooooo much fun.

Thanks so much for the input everyone.

    STEVEusaPA:
Good point taken AND Velocity was very helpful. I found their coil online but I also I found the Therma-Flow at a local shop about 20 minutes from here for only a few bucks more. That's what's in place and it's been fine until now, so another one should get us a few more years until we get a new boiler and, more importantly, up and running quicker.

I did check with Everhot. They don't don't sell direct and supplyhouse surprisingly turned me away at the mention of Therma-Flow and Crown. Maybe I got the wrong person because they are a great company. Thanks for the lead.

    HVACNUT:
I sprayed, tapped, and tightened first per your suggestions and all the bolts loosened up and will come right out when I get the coil tomorrow. Old bolts can be a show stopper, for sure, so thanks for the insight.

Hopefully everything will go smooth tomorrow and we'll have hot water back. Just for the record, I did try a flush but it seemed to just plug things up the rest of the way.

Thanks again, sincerely, for the responses.
