Weil AB-80 Wall boiler heat only Manifold question

Trying to install a Weil AB-80 Wall Boiler myself and need some help understanding how a supplied Manifold, picture attached works. Not sure how the flow of water occurs when there is a straight pipe between the System Return #7 and the System Supply #6. how does the water flow into the boiler? The Manifold in case the picture is not clear has part number 383-100-061. Thanks so much if you can provide some assistance.

This is called Primary/Secondary piping. It is used in order to isolate one pumping system from the other piping system. In some cases where there is a lot of restriction in a system, the pump that pushed the water thru the boiler is not strong enough to push the same water thru the entire system. if that happens the boiler heat exchanger may not get enough water to move across it to keep it from overheating. there is a good video about how it works. I'll try to find it for you

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
