Need help with an old Warm Morning wall heater

I have a Warm Morning wall furnace model WMF 65D. If I turn the heat up it runs and warms things up but then the blower shuts off, then restarts for maybe a few seconds then off, then back on, then off. This continues for several minutes then the blower comes on and runs for a minute or so then it all finally stops. This only happens if I turn the heat up like when I would get home from work, otherwise it runs normal. Any ideas what would cause this?
