Prevent Freezing Temp???

Member Posts: 1
We have radiant heating in the garage floor because our boiler is out there. But I can’t for the life of me remember what temperature we set the floor at to prevent the garage from freezing. Any suggestions? We don’t need to be comfortably warm, just enough to keep things from freezing up.

Is it a wall thermostat or a slab sensor? Anything above 32 would prevent it from freezing. The concern is pipes close to the overhead door. 50F might be a reasonable starting temperature.
Anti freeze is another option, it would protect in the event of a long power outage or failed equipment.Bob "hot rod" Rohr
