Boiler protection valve at work

I piped and ran this today. Supply from boiler to hrydro sep, hydro sep to 280 valve with 26-99 flowing about 10.4 gpm.
I have both Quicksetter flowmeters and a sight glass to observe flow movement.

I have a 130F cartridge, it has an 18°differential. So at 138, it should have the bypass port closed, 100% flow to the system.
There is a very short period where you can see flow both across the valve and through the system. My loop is very short so this condition only lasts seconds. On a bigger load system I would expect that condition of flow in the valve and system to be longer.

For Eric, the pump never changed sound regardless of what position the valve was in.
