Monoflow tees

I'm sure this has been discussed about a million times but I'm wondering if you can help clarify flow direction through this monoflo t?

Grooved line always goes between risers. If one tee per emitter is used it goes on return.0

If you install the tee so the branch pipe is the supply to the radiation you use the top arrow in your picture to determine the flow direction in the main.
If you install the tee so the branch pipe is the return from the radiation then use the bottom arrow to determine the flow in the main.0
