2000 energy kinetics furnace, i have a furnace thats lockdown because of pushing the restart/ reset button to many times what are the steps to get the furnace out of lockdown

    @Reever , a burner lockout occurs to prevent dangerous conditions from excessive restarts and saturation of oil in a boiler or furnace. They can also occur if you are out of oil.   Before resetting the primary control, the issue should be diagnosed so a larger problem does not occur. If you do not feel confident in your ability to do that, you may wish to call a competent heating professional to make sure that everything is working properly.  Please PM me or call 908 735-2066 if you’d like assistance in finding the support you need.

    Stop pushing that button. You're probably dumping unburnt oil into the chamber, doing damage.
    You're lucky it didn't fire or you'd have at least mess, at worse, burn your house down.
    Stop pushing that button and get a pro in there.
